Part-time Gunpla builder. Today’s album is the Axis Model Osiris Wings (NZ-666 Kshatriya).
My review
- Overall, Osiris Wings is a very good kit. It took me a month to finish, and it is absolutely beautiful.
- It is more detailed than any kit I have ever assembled. All the parts work together perfectly. It is not for beginners. I was very careful but still made mistakes at some points. 🙁
- The beautiful inner frame makes the outer armor feel like a bit of a letdown. The green color is also quite pale for my taste.
- The LEDs are beautiful, but I found it very difficult to set them up properly. Maybe the wires are too long, and the LEDs on the wings are hard to manage.
- The base is way too small for a mech of this scale.
- The torso is very weak when it has to carry the four-wing setup.
This is absolutely an end-game kit for any Gunpla builder. It is highly detailed and difficult, but the final result is absolutely stunning. I wish the torso were a bit stronger and the green color were better.
I can’t wait for Axis Model’s next product.
